Introduction

Wicked Poetry Slam is open to all styles of poetry, rap, and spoken word. The evening will begin with a special guest performer who will speak to and about a specific theme. This underlines Wicked's recognition that as artists our art has a greater purpose and responsibility and that we must strive to fulfill that responsibility, accordingly we favour performances that are socially and politically relevant. Each month we provide a different theme.
